I did this piece a little over a month ago. 3 color screen print based on an old factoid. For those of you that don't know what a factoid is, it's an invented fact believed to be true because it appears in print, or a trivial fact (according to the Webster's definition). With that said, I based this on the old factoid that claimed parents used to dress their male children in blue, the color of the sky, to keep the evil spirits away. I guess they didn't have hope for young girls since they're usually dressed in pink or a lighter color.
Luckily for this guy, he's geared up in the coolest blue outfit. Those creepy spirits behind him can't touch him as much as they want to. Maybe these hands are more like that creepy pedophile that lurks in your child's playground. Well, i say, not my kid, not my problem.
